Sales Adviser

Castle Cover is a new business selling home and Motor insurance Products to 50+ customers. The business generates responses from customers through direct advertising in national newspapers, magazines, door drops, inserts etc.

Customers will be able to telephone one or more freephone numbers and talk to a Sales Adviser, who will match their insurance requirements with the best possible deal available through our insurance panel.

Sales Advisers then take customers through a structured process to get the relevant information that enable our systems to produce a recommended level of cover, insurer and premium.

The business is regulated by the FSA (Financial Services Authority), so there is a requirement for robust processes and controls to be in place so that the business can demonstrate evidence that it is treating customers fairly at all times.

All sales advisers will go through the Training and Competency Scheme, which means that they must receive fit for purpose training and development combined with frequent call quality monitoring, coaching and performance reviews.

Target for Recruitment

Eventually as we grow we hope to be able to attract a wide range of potential employees i.e.

• Full and Part Time
• Previous sales experience useful but not essential if can demonstrate right aptitude, characteristics and interpersonal skills.

Our priority will be for full-time staff who can work 36.25 hours a week across opening hours of 8.00- 6.30 Mon-Fri and 9.00-3.00 on Saturdays (Saturdays will be on a rota basis). However the contract of employment will specify 8am-8pm Mon- Fri as we may expand our hours according to customer demands in the future, all employees would receive notice of this in advance. We also want to attract some staff who can work permanent Saturdays and this will be a distinct advantage if you can.
