Who we are

Castle Cover launched on 31st July 2006 as a new entrant in the ever growing over 50's general insurance market. Castle Cover is the third major brand within the fifty plus insurance market.

Castle Cover is led by well-known industry expert, Andrew Marchington and has been declared as the fastest growing home insurer in the UK for 2007. With over 100,000 policy holders and currently employing over 200 people, Castle Cover will hit a turnover of £100m and sign up over half a million customers by 2011.

Our aim is simple - to be the no1 preferred choice for home and motor insurance in the 50+ market.

Along with this aim, we also aspire to be an employer of choice in the Bournemouth and Poole areas. We do have any offices elsewhere and we have made a commitment to maintain our presence in the local area as we continue to grow.

Our rapid growth means that we are constantly looking for local talent to come and join in our success. The commitment to the area means more jobs - and careers - for people locally.

What we do

The Castle Cover approach is different from many other insurance companies because we specialise in finding and providing house insurance and car insurance for people aged 50 plus.

We work closely with a selected number of insurers, such as AXA, Legal & General, AIG and Royal & SunAlliance, to find quality cover for less.

Our rapid growth and success is due to everyone who works here, whether in Sales, Customer Service. Marketing, Finance, HR or IT. Our key strengths lie in marketing direct to our target customer base to generate demand for our products and services, and in sales and customer service. Some of our customers access us via the web, although the vast majority phone our state of the art contact centre to speak to our Sales Advisers.

As we are marketing and selling financial products, treating customers fairly and operating with integrity are at the heart of how we do business.
